PDL Group Implements Pump Upgrade Project for SOCAR’s HAOR

In November 2025, PDL Group signed a contract with SOCAR’s Heydar Aliyev Oil Refinery (HAOR) to upgrade pump equipment using Flowserve RVX assemblies.

The project covers the modernization of 14 pumps that no longer meet the requirements of the latest edition of the international API 610 standard.

As part of the upgrade, the existing single mechanical seals were replaced with double mechanical seals supported by advanced seal support systems, including API Plan 53B solutions.

This modernization enhances sealing reliability, reduces harmful emissions, and improves the overall environmental safety of the refinery’s production processes.

The implementation of this project highlights PDL Group’s commitment to delivering advanced engineering solutions and ensuring the stable, efficient, and environmentally responsible operation of strategically important energy infrastructure.
