PDL Group Successfully Completed Irrigation Infrastructure Project in Hajigabul
In 2022, PDL Group successfully delivered a large-scale infrastructure project to develop an irrigation system for agricultural land owned by Agro Dairy MMC, located in the Hajigabul district.
As part of the project, a water supply system was established to deliver water from the Kura River at a flow rate of 3.0 m³/sec to irrigated fields.
The main scope of work included:
- Construction and commissioning of a floating pump station with 4 units
- Installation of a 4,350-meter steel pipeline (Ø1420×14 mm)
- Construction of a 7,000-meter reinforced concrete irrigation canal
- Construction of a 5,000 m³ water reservoir
- Construction of a stationary pump station with 4 units
- Installation of an additional 6,965-meter pipeline (Ø1420×14 mm)
- Installation of equipment and technological systems throughout the entire irrigation network
The successful implementation of this project made a significant contribution to the region’s sustainable development by improving water availability for agriculture and helping to increase land productivity.
